About In N Out Menu

In-N-Out runs a short menu and publishes a clean nutrition sheet, which should make this an easy thing to look up. In practice it is not. Prices are not posted online by the company at all, because they vary by market. Nutrition sits inside a PDF. Off menu orders that half the queue is placing have no published figures anywhere. Search for a Double-Double price and the results are a mix of pages last touched in 2019 and pages that never listed a source.

This site does one job. It puts every item In-N-Out sells on one page with a price and a calorie count, states plainly where each number came from, and marks the calculated ones so nobody mistakes an estimate for a published figure. That is the whole product. There is no newsletter, no app and no account to create.

Nutrition figures come from the In-N-Out Burger nutrition facts sheet, the document the company publishes and updates itself. Where a row exists on that sheet, this site uses it without adjustment. That covers the three burgers in all three preparations, French fries, the three shakes, coffee, hot cocoa, milk and every fountain drink at every cup size.

Prices are not published by the company, so they are compiled from publicly posted menu boards across multiple markets and presented as a national middle. Every price on this site should be read as a close guide rather than the exact figure on your local board.

Figures for off menu orders are calculated, never invented. In-N-Out publishes nothing for a 4x4 or an order of Animal Style fries, so this site derives them from the published rows. A Cheeseburger minus a Hamburger gives 70 calories for a cheese slice. A Double-Double minus a Cheeseburger gives 110 calories for a beef patty. Those two constants build every estimate on the site, and every one of them carries an EST marker in the tables and on the cards.

Pages carry an Updated date. That date means the page was rebuilt and its figures re-checked against the sources above on the current publishing cycle. It is not a claim that a member of staff visited a restaurant that day, and this site does not make that claim anywhere.

In N Out Menu is run by a small independent editorial team that maintains reference sites for United States restaurant menus. The work is unglamorous: read the published nutrition sheet, compare posted prices across markets, sanity check the arithmetic on the derived figures and rebuild the pages when something moves. There is no expert panel and no dietitian on staff, and this site does not pretend otherwise.

The site funds itself through advertising. Advertising never determines what appears on a page. There are no paid placements in the menu tables, no sponsored items and no affiliate links to any restaurant or delivery service anywhere on the site.

Prices move and figures get missed. When a reader sends a receipt or a photograph of a board that contradicts something here, that page gets checked and corrected. Corrections are the most useful message this site receives and they go to the top of the queue on the contact page.

If a correction changes a figure that other pages depend on, such as the price of a beef patty, every derived number on the site is recalculated at the same time rather than patched on one page.
